  • Specialty equipment

  • Support workers

  • Community-based programs

  • Centre-run programs

Recreation programs supported by Lansdowne Foundation include: Day Camps, After School Programs, Art Programs, Summer Camps and other activities that build life skills through recreation, socialization and play.

The programs supported by community grants and fund-raised dollars assist children/youth with special needs to participate fully in the lives of their families and communities by promoting participation in the least restrictive environment.

Programs are designed to provide opportunities for children/youth with special needs to experience ways to socialize and enjoy leisure pursuits in a safe and supported environment.

Participating in recreation and leisure activities builds confidence and capacity, opening doors for participation in mainstream offerings and lifelong commitment to health and wellness.

LCCF Charity Ride 2017.jpg

Created by a generous volunteer named Bob Caissie, the Annual Lansdowne Charity Motorcycle Ride is celebrating its 18th year in 2022. We have ambitious goals for this anniversary - to raise $180,000.

You can contribute your support by joining the ride, sponsoring a rider, donating to the event, purchasing raffle tickets to win a NEW Harley-Davidson Sportster Iron 1200 and/or sharing our social media stories.

The Ride will again be partnered with the Brantford Police, and will include a breakfast, BBQ lunch, prizes, live entertainment, and a police escorted ride through Brantford and Brant County.

Thank you Bob, for all of your past involvement with Lansdowne, and for helping it grow it into the event it is today! Volunteers ROCK!

Started in 2019, the annual Lansdowne Heroes Walk and Roll event empowers participants to celebrate their strength and become costumed ambassadors for the Lansdowne Children's Centre.

In 2020 we added a virtual component to help families and the community stay connected, and increase opportunities to interact through social media networks.

Join our 4th annual event by registering to participate as a fundraiser, pledging your support to a participant, purchasing 50/50 tickets and/or sharing our stories on social media.

Planned gifts are made through a bequest, life insurance policy, securities, charitable gift annuities, trust funds and RRSPs.
