The Registered Behaviour Analyst creates and supervises individualized programming and behaviour reduction plans for children and youth with autism. The incumbent helps to build capacity to Autism Therapists by implementing and supporting best practices, ethical decision making and providing consultation and expertise.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS:
· Master’s degree in education, psychology, behavioral analysis or related discipline.
· Registered Behaviour Analyst and/or Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification required

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
• At least four years of experience providing behavioural intervention and behavior reduction programs with children and youth with Autism.
• High degree of skill in communicating with others.
• Works to build team commitment and good working relationships.
• Fosters long-term learning or development of others
· Provides assessments of children using measures and clinical decision making
· Provides treatment to children using evidence-based ABA principles
· Maintains ongoing two-way feedback with client families
· Develops and supervises individual program plans for clients
· Clinically supervises, coaches and supports Autism Therapists
· Liaises with community service providers to ensure that individual program plans integrate the perspective of all team members
· Ensures clinical data collection and management is accurate
· Writes reports documenting client’s goals and progress
· Provides one-on-one training, materials and workshops
· Reports and responds to health care needs of each child
· Is informed of and adheres to Agency Policies and Procedures
· Complies with Lansdowne Health and Safety policies and procedures
· Completed other duties as assigned
