Responsibilities: Provide support to children/youth with special needs in a recreation environment. This support may be provided in centre and/or in the community. Hours are arranged in three month increments. A commitment is required of at least one evening shift per week. Hours available are between 2.5 to 16 hrs/wk throughout multiple evenings programs 4-7pm, Saturdays 9-3pm and School Professional Activity days.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Education:
Preferred - Post secondary school diploma in Human Services (ECE, DSW, CYW, etc.) however equivalent experience with children/youth with special needs is also considered.
Please note: Emergency First Aid CPR level C is required. Employment is conditional upon successful completion of background checks, including a police vulnerable sector check, proof of immunizations including COVID-19 Vaccination.
