Responsibilities: The Autism Therapist is a person trained in implementing Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Autism Therapist will provide one-on-one and small group instruction therapy for children, youth and their families.
Qualifications:
Related university degree or college diploma
Preference will be given to applicants who hold Registered Behaviour Technician “RBT” credentials and whose education is complemented with an Ontario College Graduate Certificate in Autism and Behavioural Science (ABS) or Behavioural Science Technology (B.S.T.).
Experience:
Preference may be given to applicants with experience providing Intensive Behaviour Intervention (IBI)
Other:
Valid driver’s license and personal transportation
Proof of immunizations, including full COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses)
Job Type: 10 month (fixed term) contract
