Autism Services at Lansdowne Children’s Centre incorporates both Ministry funded Ontario Autism Programs (OAP) as well as Fee-For-Service treatment options which allows families to purchase evidence-based treatment. We promote a multi-disciplinary and family-centred environment that supports children and youth with Autism, as well as their caregivers, in reaching their full potential through assessment, treatment, training, collaboration and resources.
Responsibilities: The Board Certified Behaviour Analyst “BCBA” creates and supervises individualized programming and behaviour reduction plans for children/youth with autism based upon the principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis.
The role will help to build capacity within Autism Therapists by implementing and supporting best practices, ethical decision making and providing consultation and expertise in the area of ABA practices and instructional methods within a variety of contexts.
Provides clinical supervision and mentorship for Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) candidates, as appropriate.
Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification
Preferred: Minimum 4 years providing ABA therapy to children/youth with ASD with at least 2 year’s clinical experience in assessment, treatment planning and monitoring, consultation and parent training.
Proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary groups as a team and experience in providing staff training and consultation.
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
Proof of immunizations, including full COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses)
Rate of pay subject to qualifications, coursework completed and previous experience
