How can I update my contact information?
Please let your Lansdowne service provider know about your changes, or contact the SmartStart Hub office to share your new information. If you are engaged in Autism Services, you can also contact the Family Support Workers.
I need assistance completing government application forms, do you have someone that can help me?
(Examples, Special Services at Home, Ontario Autism Program, Disability Tax Credit, etc. ) Yes! Please let your service provider or SmartStart Hub know and they will help you connect with the next information workshop/clinic available.
How can I receive information about Lansdowne events, workshops, news?
Follow us on Facebook (@LansdowneChildrens), provide your consent to receive E-news, and/or subscribe to receive our e-newsletter on our website. Information is also available in Caregiver Corner.
How can I purchase items from the display cabinet in the 39 Mount Pleasant St. waiting area?
Yes! Please speak with Reception and they will be happy and able to assist you.
How can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Please contact the Scheduling Office by calling 519-753-3153 and speak with reception. If you know the phone extension or email of your service provider please contact them directly.
How can I become more involved at Lansdowne?
You can:
Participate in Family Engagement activities and events and connect with other client families;
Apply to join the Family Advisory Council
Apply to join the board of directors or committees
Participate in fundraising events, and/or as an event volunteer
Can I borrow toys, videos or equipment to support my child’s development?
Yes! Our Lending Library/Resource Centre at 39 Mount Pleasant Street in Brantford offers a mix of toys, games, videos and print materials available for borrow. You can also access equipment with the guidance of a service provider, typically a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist. Speak with reception about your needs.
The doctor referred my child; how do I refer my other children?
Most Lansdowne programs can accept referrals made by a parent/legal guardian.
