Where To Start

It's okay to have questions or concerns. You are doing the right thing by looking for answers and we are happy to help. Let's get started.

Lansdowne Children's Centre proudly offers SmartStart Hub services.

Your journey with Lansdowne typically starts with a referral. You or someone in your life has recognized potential challenge(s) for your child/youth and now you are seeking assistance to help learn how to address that challenge so your child/youth can pursue their optimal potential.

The first team you will work with at Lansdowne Children's Centre is INTAKE SERVICES.

Who is eligible for Intake Services?

Anyone requiring information about Lansdowne Children's Centre services, wanting to make a referral to our services or wishing to inquire if a child/youth is eligible for Lansdowne services may contact Intake Services.

Many programs require only a parent referral while some programs require particular documentation or specific criteria be met for eligibility. Intake Services will provide assistance in explaining the services required.

What can I expect?

A friendly conversation for us to learn more about you and your unique needs, a chance for you to ask questions, and an opportunity for us to share more about what Lansdowne can offer to help you.

Intake Coordinators can provide information about eligibility requirements, referral processes, and anticipated wait times for services or programs. They will ask questions about your child’s development and the current concerns in order to connect you with the services that best meet your child and family's needs.

The Intake Coordinators work with families and professionals to navigate the process of starting new service(s) at Lansdowne Children's Centre.

All phone calls start with your choice of a local or toll-free number.
