About the event
Lansdowne Children's Centre presents the POLAR EXPRESS, a holiday celebration experience for children and youth clients and their families.
After two seasons of an exclusively drive-thru experience at the magical Night@ the Lights at Glenhyrst, the annual Lansdowne children's holiday season event is returned home to our location at 39 Mount Pleasant Street in Brantford.
A small step towards restoring our former children's party, the 2022 edition invites client families to register to attend a walk-through of activities including:
- a meet and greet photo opportunity with Sensitive Santa and Mrs. Claus
- receviving instruction and a take-home craft kit of holiday family fun
- receiving a holiday gift bag with treats for our children and youth clients
- receiving an icecream dessert from our friends at Paris Twisted Treats & What's the Scoop
Families will be assigned an arrival time to join the festivities and walk thru the event.
A drive-thru alternative is also available, on a seperate registration available here.
Gift bag pickup events are also available in Haldimand and Norfolk:
- 110 Ramsey Drive, Dunnville on Saturday December 3, click here for more information
- 11 Colborne St. N., Simcoe on Friday December 9, click here for more information
If you have any questions please contact our Family Engagement Coordinator, Renee Cochrane, by email at rcochrane@lansdownecc.com
Once registered you will be contacted by email and provided an assigned pick up time in your desired window. (for example, if you indicate a preference of 9am - 11am, your assigned pickup time may be 9:25am).
Pickup time assignments are being used to help control our traffic flow around the building and community.
