Key Responsibilities
Lansdowne Children's Centre
is seeking an experienced and compassionate Program Supervisor – Recreation Servicesto lead and support a team of Support Workers delivering inclusive recreation programs for children and youth with diverse abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and support Recreation Support Workers.

  • Manage staff scheduling, payroll monitoring, and program coverage.

  • Recruit, train, evaluate, and develop staff.

  • Ensure programs operate safely and in accordance with agency policies and OHSA requirements.

  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.

Education, Qualifications and Certifications

Qualifications

· Completion of a post-secondary Degree in Human Services, Recreation, or equivalent. Combined with education relevant to working with children/youth with special needs.

Experience and Knowledge

Experience and Knowledge

· Minimum of three (3) years of prior related experience in community support, human services, or a related environment.

· Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

· Develop an understanding and support for the mission and purpose of Lansdowne Children’s Centre and its implications as related to position responsibilities.
