Key Responsibilities
Lansdowne Children's Centre is seeking an experienced and compassionate Program Supervisor – Recreation Servicesto lead and support a team of Support Workers delivering inclusive recreation programs for children and youth with diverse abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, coach, and support Recreation Support Workers.
Manage staff scheduling, payroll monitoring, and program coverage.
Recruit, train, evaluate, and develop staff.
Ensure programs operate safely and in accordance with agency policies and OHSA requirements.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.

Education, Qualifications and Certifications
Qualifications
· Completion of a post-secondary Degree in Human Services, Recreation, or equivalent. Combined with education relevant to working with children/youth with special needs.
Experience and Knowledge
Experience and Knowledge
· Minimum of three (3) years of prior related experience in community support, human services, or a related environment.
· Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
· Develop an understanding and support for the mission and purpose of Lansdowne Children’s Centre and its implications as related to position responsibilities.
