If you are interested in a placement with Lansdowne, you should first confirm with your educational institution to ensure compliance with their policies, procedures, eligibility criteria and preferred method for contacting Lansdowne.

For prospective Volunteers...

We are delighted that you are interested in volunteering for Lansdowne Children's Centre! All potential volunteers will be interviewed prior to placement. If you agree with our Mission Statement which states that…

“Lansdowne Children's Centre offers a broad range of high quality, flexible and responsive community-based services and supports for children, young adults and their families. The Centre's staff work in close partnership with the children and families, while being committed to a family-centred approach to service delivery.”

…and are willing to be interviewed and attend an orientation, we encourage you to please complete the online application form.

Volunteer Program Requirements:

To volunteer with the Lansdowne Children's Centre you must:
• be 16 years or older (some exceptions may apply)
• submit a completed Lansdowne Volunteer Application Form
• attend an interview
• provide two references (employers preferred)
• provide police clearance
• certification that you are free from active tuberculosis and other communicable/contagious diseases
• complete Lansdowne Volunteer Orientation including training
