What you'll do
The Recreation support workers provide individualized support and encourage successful participation of children/youth with special needs in a recreational group setting. Program take place at Lansdowne Children’s Centre.

Education, Qualifications and Certifications
· Completion of or currently enrolled in a post-secondary college diploma in Human Services or equivalent education.
· First Aid/CPR certification Level C or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.
· Safe Management Certificate or willingness to obtain.
Experience and Knowledge
· Minimum: 2 years’ experience of prior related experience providing services to persons with special needs.
· Experience working in a recreational setting preferred
· Satisfactory Vulnerable Criminal Record check
