Become a hero for Lansdowne Kids. Register your fundraising team and start collecting pledges online with your personalized webpage to tell your own Lansdowne story. Print the milestone map and pledge collection sheet to track your progress and fundraise with friends, neighbours and family.

Family Fun Fair

The Heroes Walk and Roll is a vibrant, inclusive celebration designed to empower every child to feel like a hero for a day.

With accessibility at its core, this event offers a joyful and engaging experience for kids of all abilities—featuring music, games, and festivities that welcome neurodivergent participants and accomodate those with mobility and communication challenges.

Park and event access is ALL INCLUSIVE when you register your fundraising team. Registration cost is $10.00 per team and provides access to Brant Park, free parking, and includes free play with all our carnival games, inflatables attractions, photo booth, costumed heroes and live music and entertainment

11:00 a.m. Event Opens

Check-in with Registration table

Bring in your pledge form, cash and/or cheque pledges. Additional prizes or goodies will be available for pick-up at Registration.

Receive prize raffle tickets when you register, with additional tickets awarded based on fundraising, AND available for purchase. Tickets may be input into available prize draw(s) of your choice.

Enjoy the games and activities and Live Music!

12:30 p.m. Let’s Walk and Roll! Meet at the pavillion.
We will have an opening ceremony with guest speakers. Following the presentations we will start our Hero parade lap! (approx. 15-mins)

1:15 p.m. Animal Show! at the Pavillion

1:45 p.m. Prize Draws and Closing Ceremonies

2:00 p.m. Event closes and clean-up begins

Dress up as whatever Hero means to you!

Do I need to pack a lunch?

Light refreshments will be available to fundraisers and volunteers. We recommend you bring a water bottle and picnic snacks for your team.

Is there an accessible washroom?

Yes. Brant Park has a washroom building walking/rolling distance from the event. There are also portable washroom stalls on the event grounds.

How to prepare for weather?

Fall events can be tricky. We recommend layers so you can adjust as needed for sun, wind and light rain. A hat is a good idea too for outdoor fun. There is little coverage available if it's raining, so in the event of heavy rain or thunderstorms (or snow!) we will cancel or postpone the event.

What is the ground surface?

The parking lot is a packed dirt and gravel drive. The walking and rolling path is an asphalt road. The carnival games and attractions are on the grass around the pavillion.
