Become a Hero

for Lansdowne Kids

Your generosity can shape so many brighter beginnings. Each year introduces a new class of children who face a long journey, challenged by physical, communication and/or developmental delays or disorders. Will you answer the call and step up to be a hero for Lansdowne kids?

Only with incredible community support can Lansdowne Children’s Centre continue to provide life-changing programs for community kids and their families—providing a place where healing, hope, and childhood can flourish despite even the toughest circumstances.

Every day, we watch in awe as infants, children and teens work to unlock new abilities and push their limits in the pursuit of discovering their own potential. That's why they are our Little Heroes. From feet we thought might never walk the floor, to mouths we thought might never share a sound, Lansdowne kids surprise and amaze. Their achievements and progress humble and inspire us.

We're reaching out with an invitation to build your legacy of compassion and community leadership. The Heroes Walk and Roll is a vibrant, inclusive celebration designed to empower every child to feel like a hero for a day. With accessibility at its core, this event offers a joyful and engaging experience for kids of all abilities—featuring music, games, and festivities that welcome neurodivergent participants and accomodate those with mobility and communication challenges.

It’s more than just a party in Brant Park; it’s a powerful fundraiser that gives life to essential programs that provide kids with access to experiences like day camps, local sports, youth groups and social celebrations—ensuring that children who often face barriers to participation can enjoy the full richness of childhood.

As families come together to celebrate community and achievements, they also champion a future where every child has equal access to play, connection, and community.
