What you'll do
Provide assessment, treatment and consultation for children and youth with physical and/or developmental delays or disorders. Services are provided in a variety of settings. The position provides service in locations in Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk Counties. Travel is required within the catchment area.
· Establish and implement a goal-oriented treatment plan
· Provide and facilitate the attaining of appropriate equipment through recognized resources
Provide support to parents, daycares and schools in the form of education where appropriate

Education, Qualifications and Certifications
· Mandatory: Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
· Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
· First Aid/CPR Certification
Experience and Knowledge
• Preferred: Pediatric experience of at least 2 years in providing service with a special needs population.
• Previous work experience with special needs children and/or paediatric placement during training.
