It’s little things in young lives that often create the biggest moments. For Julie Neal, finding the right equipment to empower her daughter Tenley to join in a family dance party was a big moment.

It was a night to celebrate the creativity, hard work and dedication of the members of Lansdowne’s Therapeutic Recreation program as the annual Artists’ Gala returned to the Branlyn Community Centre on Nov. 21.

Radhika and Sakshi came to Lansdowne Brantford to deliver boxes of individually wrapped snacks, including Bear Paws cookies, Goldfish crackers and Rice Krispie Treats, for the centre’s upcoming Children's Holiday Parties for clients and their families.

A group of staff and guests from Lansdowne recently ventured to Ivor Wynne Stadium to watch the Hamilton Tiger-Cats football team go up against the Ottawa Redblacks as part of a staff appreciation event. Lynda Henriksen is Lansdowne Children’s Centre’s new Director of Development and Community Relations. Her journey into fundraising began when she was nine years old.
