A parent's success story finding support for their child's development with Lansdowne Children's Centre, speech services

Chance and friends love learning more about the programs and services at Lansdowne Children's Centre, and sharing with our community how Lansdowne makes an impact in the lives of local infants, children and youth, and their families.

It's a labour of love for organizer Julie Neal, local real estate agent in Brantford whose family has been helped by the many services and programs offered by Lansdowne Children's Centre.

It’s little things in young lives that often create the biggest moments. For Julie Neal, finding the right equipment to empower her daughter Tenley to join in a family dance party was a big moment.

It was a night to celebrate the creativity, hard work and dedication of the members of Lansdowne’s Therapeutic Recreation program as the annual Artists’ Gala returned to the Branlyn Community Centre on Nov. 21.

Radhika and Sakshi came to Lansdowne Brantford to deliver boxes of individually wrapped snacks, including Bear Paws cookies, Goldfish crackers and Rice Krispie Treats, for the centre’s upcoming Children's Holiday Parties for clients and their families.

A group of staff and guests from Lansdowne recently ventured to Ivor Wynne Stadium to watch the Hamilton Tiger-Cats football team go up against the Ottawa Redblacks as part of a staff appreciation event. At the game, the group from Lansdowne was invited to be part of the on-field unfurling of the field-sized Canadian flag for the national anthem and met with a number of the Ticats’ cheerleaders after the game; Lansdowne also got a shoutout on the jumbotron during the game. The second annual Magic of Giving Holiday Market to benefit Lansdowne Children’s Centre is just around the corner.
