Brantford, ON - Friends of Lansdowne Children's Centre walked and rolled into Arnold Anderson Stadium ready to cheer on our Brantford Red Sox on Sunday June 9 as they took to the field against the visiting Kitchener Panthers.
It was the second annual Lansdowne Day at the Ballpark, this time including celebration of Lansdowne's 50th anniversary providing services and support for infants, children and youth with special needs, and their families.
The national anthem was performed by Lansdowne youth ambassador Max Slade, who bravely faced the main grandstand audience and inspired the crowd to join his impressive ballad performance.
The ceremonial first pitch was thrown out by another Lansdowne client, and Aidan threw a powerful curve ball to the waiting catcher #45 Noah Law of the Brantford Red Sox.
Thank you to all our volunteers and friends who came out to be part of the day!
And thank you to Connie and all the team at the Brantford Red Sox for hosting a special day for all our Lansdowne families.
