The new organizer of a revved-up rally that has raised about $1.3 million for Lansdowne Children’s Centre over the past 20 years looked pleased on Saturday.

Brian Kinrade surveyed the gleaming motorcycles lined up as far as the eye could see between two long industrial buildings owned by Brimich Logistics on Kraemer’s Way, the starting point for riders who were ready to roll.

“It looks like there are about 200 or 250 bikes,” he said with a smile. “We’ve also got police volunteering from Brantford, Hamilton, Toronto, London, and Six Nations, along with St. John’s Ambulance.”
