• Provide caregiver training and consultation

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS:

•Early Childhood Educator Diploma
•Graduate certificate as a Resource Consultant
•Registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
•Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Extensive paediatric experience of at least 2 years in providing service with a special needs population
• Preference given to those with experience working with children and youth on the Autism Spectrum
• Preference given to those with experience working in collaboration with Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and/or other multi-disciplinary teams
• Minimum Experience:
• Previous work experience with children with special needs in a group setting
• Other:
• Valid driver’s license and personal transportation are required as travel is required within the Brant, Haldimand-Norfolk, Six Nations of the Grand and Mississauga’s of the Credit catchment area
• Proof of immunizations including full COVID-19 vaccination
