June is Pride month and celebrations are taking place in our communities, across the country, and around the globe. To the Two Spirit and LGBTQIA+ community – and all of their children, youth, and families – we celebrate you and we support you.
As social services providers with mandates to serve children and youth, Lansdowne Children's Centre is committed to providing safe, responsive, and accessible services and supports to everyone. We recognize the challenges and injustices experienced by members of the Two Spirit and LGBTQIA+ community and we commit to security, safety, belonging and inclusion for all.
Pride month is a time to recognize progress and achievements, and it is a time to recognize the wonderful uniqueness and value of every child, every youth, and every family.
