Lansdowne Children's Centre for child development

Services & Programs

​Lansdowne Children's Centre connects caregivers with local child development services and support. Conditions can include: Autism Specturm Diagnosis (ASD), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Spina Bifida, Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), Chromosomal disorders and Neurological conditions.

INFANT & CHILD SUPPORTS

Infant and Child Development Program (ICDP)

Provides family-centered services in the early years of a child’s development, primarily in the home. Developmental Consultants partner with families to enhance the growth and development of children and provide support, information and early intervention services.

LIFESPAN SUPPORT SERVICES

Child and Youth Worker (CYW)

A Child and Youth Worker provides supportive counselling to those who are coping with the implications of a diagnosis/special need. This professionally trained worker can support children, adolescents and their families, individually and in groups.

LIFESPAN SUPPORT SERVICES

Family Service Coordinator (FSC)

Provides assistance to Lansdowne client families with complex needs, to help manage their services within the agency and the community.
