Lansdowne Children's Centre for child development

Services & Programs

​Lansdowne Children's Centre connects caregivers with local child development services and support. Conditions can include: Autism Specturm Diagnosis (ASD), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Spina Bifida, Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), Chromosomal disorders and Neurological conditions.

Physiotherapy at Lansdowne (PT)

Physiotherapy focuses on helping children and youth develop and optimize their large motor control muscles and abilities, including muscle strength and range.

Mobility activities may include rolling, crawling, standing, walking.

RECREATION SERVICES

Camp and Recreation (CARE)

Camp and Recreation programs are for children and youth age 4 - 18 involved with Respite Services at Lansdowne Children's Centre.


CARE programs provide opportunities for eligible clients to:

Learn new skills and interests

Develop independence and personal growth
