Lansdowne Children's Centre for child development

Services & Programs

​Lansdowne Children's Centre connects caregivers with local child development services and support. Conditions can include: Autism Specturm Diagnosis (ASD), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Spina Bifida, Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), Chromosomal disorders and Neurological conditions.

RESPITE SERVICES

In-Home Respite Care

Providing a break for families caring for children to age 18 with long term physical, developmental and/or communication disability delays. Supports are offered in the child's home or in the community.

Kids Country Inn

Kids Country Inn (KCI) Is a weekend out-of-home getaway with on-site nursing support, available to children up to age 18 who are medically fragile and/or technologically dependent/multiple needs.

Special Services at Home

Special Services at Home (SS@H) supports children to age 18 with a developmental and/or physical disability. Support can include 1:1 support working with your child on goals, or providing primary caregivers with a short break.
