About the event
Meet Bertie the Bus!
This event is offered by Family Engagement services at Lansdowne Children's Centre for child development to provide children and families the opportunity to explore a school bus and bus ride safety before new or returning students go to school in September. This is a no cost event open to all Lansdowne client families and caregivers.
You will have a chance to practice getting on and off the bus with your backpack, sitting in a seat, and learning about bus ride safety and rules.
This annual event has been helpful in providing kids an opportunity to get comfortable with the bus and explore the transition to being a bus rider.
