Lansdowne donates over 150lbs to local food banks

GRAND ERIE, ON – Caledonia and District Food Bank volunteer Kathy MacMillan

and manager Dorette Allemang accepted a donation from Lansdowne Children’s Centre’s Caledonia site.
The donations were from the agency’s FAST Food drive, which was held in support of team and community members who fast for Ramadan and Lent around this time of year. In total, over 150 pounds of donations were collected in Caledonia and Brantford sites, and shared with their local food banks.
Lansdowne Children's Centre is a SmartStart Hub in the region of Grand Erie, operating sites in Brantford, Caledonia, Dunnville and Simcoe. Families of infants, children and youth with additional can connect with Lansdowne online or by phone as a one-stop point of entry to local child development services, supports and resources for a child's communication, developmental, and/or physical development needs.
