Available to all families of Lansdowne infant, child and youth clients. Access peer mentoring, education and social events with Lansdowne Family Engagement services. Join the Family Advisory Council (FAC) and help plan, implement and review events and activities, as well as advocate for Lansdowne client families.

Multiple DatesFri, Sep 11Lansdowne BrantfordAs kids go back to school in September, Lansdowne client parents and caregivers are invited to join supportive conversation and connect in a casual, safe and comfortable environment. Please note, there is no childminding available at this event.
Thu, Sep 17Brantwood FarmsPre-registration required. Lansdowne client families can enjoy free access to the play patch and a wagon ride around the farm (leaving at approx 6:00pm). Families can purchase large pumpkins at a special price of $5 each (limit one per person) at the event. No childminding is provided.

Join us for an unforgettable evening of country music featuring the hits of Alabama, Miranda Lambert, and Zac Brown Band. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Lansdowne Children’s Centre.

Family engagement recognizes that families are essential to the successful outcome of their children’s plan of care and ensures that caregivers are welcome partners in the planning and delivery of Lansdowne Children’s Centre services and programs.
Lansdowne Children’s Centre for child development is committed to creating more opportunities for families to partner with service providers and each other, to contribute their perspective, advice, passion and talent, and share the knowledge that comes from their lived experience. We need to enhance programs already in place and establish a broad range of family supports to help inspire and empower families meet the day-to-day challenges they face.
