Celebrating Halls of Halloween

There were princesses, monsters, a menagerie of animals and more at Lansdowne Children’s Centre in Brantford for the annual Halls of Halloween event.

Hosted by Autism Services, this is an opportunity for clients to have a literal dress rehearsal ahead of trick or treating on October 31.

There were 180 children who participated in the event, plus their caregivers, for a total of 350 people who cycled through the event in just two and a half hours.

After Halls of Halloween 2026 was over, Autism Services Manager Susan Battin said, “A few families shared with me that this was the first time that their children had been able to participate in any Halloween related activities … It makes it all worthwhile!”

Huge thanks go out to all of the staff and volunteers who helped with the event, as well as the local businesses and organizations who offered support as well.
