Starting at $185/hour as of May 1, 2025 Autism Services program fees are inclusive of the in-program time, indirect supervision by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), report writing and prep-work that occurs before and after each program appointment. Contact Us more about FFS program registration When you complete the FFS program registration form, based on your responses you will be added to one of two lists for Autism Services: "Waitlist- Does not meet criteria" or "Ready to Go-Meets criteria". You will only be contacted by Lansdowne to be offered a spot in an FFS program if you have communicated that you currently meet the following eligibility criteria: Your child is a registered client with Lansdowne Children's Centre Autism Services You currently have funding available to purchase the minimum contract amount (1 hr/week for 3 months, $2220) or have scheduled your determination of needs meeting with AccessOAP What is an Intensive ABA program? The Lansdowne Children's Centre Intensive ABA program is a fee-for-service therapy intended for children ages 0 to 12 years. This Autism Services program teaches your child essential skills and management of challenging behaviours. Learn More What is a Goal-based ABA program? The Lansdowne Children's Centre Goal-based ABA program is a fee-for-service therapy available to children and youth ages newborn to 18 years. This program helps your child to reach their unique goals in a series of weekly appointments, delivered in a mix of 1:1, groups and workshops, with an emphasis on parent/caregiver training/consultation. Learn More What happens after FFS registration? After your completed form is submitted you will receive an automated email confirmation. Next, one of our family support workers will review your updated registration and determine if you meet the required criteria to begin a fee-for-service ABA program with Autism Services. For those on the "Ready to Go" list... When your program has availability you will receive an offer of service email from Lansdowne, delivered to the email address currently on file with us from your most-recent registration form. This offer will include an an expiry date. Please respond to the offer with urgency. Failure to respond and complete the acceptance form before the expiry date will result in forfeit of your child's priority in the wait list. You will be required to restart the process again with a new registration form. Core Clinical Funding typically expires after 12-months. Accepting services from another provider will not impact your access to any Autism Services at Lansdowne Children's Centre.

Often these universal strategies for skill development will help a child's progress. SS@H can be used in a variety of ways to best meet the needs of each unique family. Support can be provided either in the home or in a variety of community settings The program is funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. Some of the ways SS@H can provide your child with support are: 1:1 Support Worker to support your child in working toward their own unique goals. 1:1 Support Worker to provide families with a short break from the demands of caring for their child. The purchase of a variety of other individualized supports and services for your child based on current Ministry guidelines. Yes. Brant Park has a washroom building walking/rolling distance from the event. There are also portable washroom stalls on the event grounds. How to prepare for weather? Fall events can be tricky. We recommend layers so you can adjust as needed for sun, wind and light rain. A hat is a good idea too for outdoor fun. There is little coverage available if it's raining, so in the event of heavy rain or thunderstorms (or snow!) we will cancel or postpone the event. What is the ground surface? The parking lot is a packed dirt and gravel drive. The walking and rolling path is an asphalt road. The carnival games and attractions are on the grass around the pavillion. My sister Lacey and I are the MacMoore Sisters, known for our fundraising at the Lansdowne Charity Motorcycle Ride. I was born with a Brachial Plexus injury in my right arm. It was a challenging time as no one could really explain it to my mum and dad why my arm looked different. When I was one month old I was taken for a visit to Lansdowne Children’s Centre. My sister Lacey had been there the year before to make sure she was ready for school and she was excited for me to see it. We spent some time visiting with Heather and Ashley in the Physio and Occupational Therapy departments and they became my second family. At Lansdowne I have taken part in the Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Recreation programs and so much more. It is my second home. I have been diagnosed with both Brachial Plexus and Acquired Brain Injury with the help of Lansdowne. Throughout the years Lansdowne has helped me with getting everything I need to help me learn better in school, and helping my family get me a mobility device to help me explore the world even when I am having a bad day and couldn’t walk. Every year we look forward to the Christmas Party to get us out and to get to see Santa. It is one of the best family days! Each year we looked forward to going to Lansdowne Children’s Centre events because we got to be with a lot of the people who I know. Thank you for caring to read my letter.
