For the 42nd year in a row, the Rotary Club of Brantford brought hope and community spirit with its annual Rotary Classic Run.
The event was held on June 7, starting and ending on the W. Ross Macdonald School for the Blind grounds.
As always, the Lansdowne Cruisers team was there to support the fundraising efforts.
Lansdowne Children’s Centre CEO and Rotarian Rita-Marie Hadley congratulated everyone who was part of the Lansdowne team for their efforts.
“You made the community aware of our awesome crew of families, staff, alumni and supporters in helping a service club that was at the heart of founding Lansdowne,” she said.
“With Rotary’s longstanding and historical support of Lansdowne, I also extend thanks for how you helped us represent active inclusion in a caring community.”

It is wonderful to see the Lansdowne Cruisers continuing this amazing partnership with the Rotary Club of Brantford. Events like "Walk, Roll, and Run" do an outstanding job of promoting inclusivity while raising vital support for the Lansdowne Children's Centre. Coordinating these annual events takes an incredible amount of energy and dedication from the organizers and volunteers. After an active day of supporting local causes or cheering on the participants, finding a quiet moment to relax is essential. Huge congratulations to everyone who walked, rolled, ran, and donated to make this year's event another massive success
