Masking at Lansdowne, it's a must

Updated: Feb 22, 2023

Announced Monday, November 14, 2022

For the safety and well being of all clients, families, staff and partners, Lansdowne Children's Centre has announced an increased level of health protection effective immediately.

Given the impact on children of the current respiratory illnesses, until further notice, it will be required that all staff and any adult visiting Lansdowne Children's Centre service sites MUST mask. As well, any children who are able to, are asked to do so at all Lansdowne Children's Centre service sites.

Complimentary masks are available at reception on entering the building at Lansdowne Children's Centre in Brantford, and clinicians will have masks available for visitors at Haldimand and Norfolk locations in Caledonia, Dunnville and Simcoe.

Lansdowne Children's Centre provides service and support to a wide demographic of families across Brantford, Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk counties, Six Nations of the Grand River and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. A number of children and youth in Lansdowne's care are considered high-risk for infection and illness and require a greater vigilance for protective care. We must work together to protect those vulnerable and remain vigilant in our efforts to battle transmission.

Please continue to wash your hands, practice social distancing where possible and wear a mask when visiting Lansdowne Children's Centre in your community.

Lansdowne appreciates the understanding and cooperation of everyone involved in service and support programs and will continue to monitor the health situation of our province and our community.
