Lansdowne Children's Centre is a SmartStart Hub - a one-stop point of entry connecting families and caregivers with local child development services, supports and resources for a child's communication, developmental, and/or physical development needs.

Lansdowne Children's Centre is a highly accredited children's treatment centre (CTC) and SmartStart Hub, connecting caregivers with resources, services & supports, for infants, children, and youth with physical, communication, and/or developmental needs.

Lansdowne works with children and their families in centres in Brantford, Simcoe, Caledonia and Dunnville, and in a variety of community settings such as homes, schools, childcares, early learning environments, and camps, as well as through virtual means using streaming video.

​Lansdowne Children's Centre proudly delivers SmartStart Hub services, serving Brantford, Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk counties, Six Nations of the Grand River, and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.

Lansdowne Children's Centre is privileged to have Dr. Ben Klein, a Developmental Paediatrician, as our Medical Director.

Clients receiving other services are eligible to have an assessment completed by the Developmental Paediatrician.

Clients needing multiple services are also eligible for Holistic Integrated Teams (HITs).

In 2021, Lansdowne Children's Centre was recognized by the Chamber of Commerce of Brantford-Brant as winner of the Bell Community Builder Award.

In 2024, Lansdowne Children's Centre was recognized by Accreditation Canada as Accredited with Exemplary Standing.

Our Family Centred Guiding Principles at Lansdowne Children's Centre are belief statements about how supports and resources ought to be made available to parents/families involved in early childhood intervention, parenting support and family resource programs and which specify how our staff should interact and treat families, children and youth clients.
